It’s a mighty exciting day for fans of tepid hardware iterations as Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 2080 Super is proliferating store shelves around the world. As ever with a new graphics card joining the family, Nvidia has pumped out a new GeForce driver update. The GeForce 431.60 WHQL GPU driver comes packing official support for GeForce RTX 2080 Super graphics card as well as a new swathe G-Sync compatible monitors.

If you’re not about to drop $699 on a new graphics though then there are a few other juicy bonus features bundled into the 431.60 driver. Day-1 Game Ready performance optimisations for Wolfenstein: Youngblood, the VR-focused Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot, and Madden NFL 20. In theory, this means up-to-date performance tweaks and bug fixes that should allow for the optimum gameplay experience.

Should you be picking up any of that trio of games this week then you should probably be giving this latest graphics card driver a whirl. Sadly, the Youngblood driver release doesn’t mean ray-tracing support. Developer MachineGames has confirmed RTX support for Youngblood will be coming after launch.

As ever though, there are a number of things to look out for. There are few known issues this time around, although if you’re playing The Division 2 then this driver could cause game crashes while playing in DirectX 12. Mortal Kombat 11 players may also suffer from random green and white flickering, so tread carefully.
